Happy March! Our favorite new releases this week features music from Kenny Mason, Carlie Hanson, Souly Had, and Joshua Raw.

Texas – Joshua Raw 

Joshua Raw flexes about his ego and possessions in his new single “Texas”. He raps boastingly over a bass-boosted beat, his animated style and rhymes make this song a banger. “Everything way bigger like Texas, crossing have a big ego off of my checklist.” The “go big or go home” chants in the intro of the song get us hyped! Listen to this song whenever you need a confidence boost or in your car with the windows down to feel on top of the world. Joshua Raw delivers heat with “Texas”.

doomed – Souly Had 

Souly Had sings about a toxic relationship in his new single “doomed”. “I’m over trying to work it out/Why you want to work against me/What’s the point in fighting now/You use everything against me.” Souly Had’s raspy vocals over a funky guitar instrumental with the relatable subject matter makes this song a hit. Listen to this song on a rainy day for moody vibes or in your room after you break up with your toxic partner. In the music video, Souly Had witnesses a breakup between two people and the aftermath from the woman’s perspective. Souly Had is the king of breaking hearts in “doomed”.

Back Home – Kenny Mason

Kenny Mason fuses rock and rap in his new song “Back Home.” This song is the closing track on his new EP “3”. “Back Home” is a strong closer to the project, where he reflects on his life and growing up in his hometown. “I don’t know where my dogs/Go to play when they die/I don’t know who outside/but I know who I know.” Kenny Mason’s raspy bold vocals with the electric instrumental breakdown on the chorus make this song a work of art. Listen to this on a road trip or alone in your room and lose yourself in the music. Kenny Mason is on a new wave with “Back Home”.

LSE to LAX – Carlie Hanson 

Carlie Hanson gets vulnerable in her new song “LSE to LAX.” It arrives ahead of her new album Wisconsin, out March 10 via Warner Records. In this song, Carlie sings about not opening up to her partner about her mental health struggles in her long-distance relationship. ”Another day I can’t be honest, I got bad lies/Can’t bring my walls down, built a fortress, that’s a sad life.” Carlie’s emotional vocals over the acoustic instrumental with the raw lyrics make this song beautiful. Listen to this when you’re in your feelings or when you miss your significant other. Carlie Hanson bares all her flaws for the world to hear with “LSE to LAX.”
