The rockstar lifestyle drives Curtis Waters insane in “GOD’S LONELY MAN”. “Growing up I wanted fame, always dreamed about the A-list/All this sh*t drove me insane, I’d rather kill me than be nameless.” Curtis’ smooth flow and dark lyrics on the unconventional mid-tempo pop instrumental is what makes this song a work of art. His storytelling skills are commendable.

At the beginning and the end of “GOD’S LONELY MAN”, in a distorted voice, Curtis has two messages. In the intro, he says, “I believe that the earth is a big ball of sh*t. In the “HIMBO” visual, Curtis is getting ready for the day until he sees an actor win the award for best actor in the world. He then goes to a red carpet-event to get attention. When he sees the actor who won gets more attention than him, Curtis confronts him, resulting in a brawl. Curtis punches the actor in the face, and then the video transitions into “GOD’S LONELY MAN”. In a jester outfit in the cold of winter and the middle of nowhere, Curtis is rock bottom. He wanders around the woods alone and reflects on how to keep his fame alive.
