B&B’s Favorite New Releases featuring Verzache, Aàyanna and more (4/28)

Happy May! Our picks for our favorite new releases features new music from Verzache, Aàyanna, Sam Truth and Baro Sura, and Matt Cleare.

Verzache – Call My Own

Verzache sings about falling for a girl that he can’t have in his new song, “Call My Own”. This alternative ballad, similar to Coldplay’s “Yellow”, features a guitar-heavy instrumental and bass-boosted drums. Verzache’s vocals are raspy and full of longing, giving this song a nostalgic vibe. “It’s a long ride home / I don’t want you to feel alone / You know it’s hard to watch you go / I just want you to call my own.” Listen to this song on a rainy day or whenever you leave someone you haven’t seen in a while for melancholy vibes. Verzache’s “Call My Own” is a moody alternative ballad that we’ll keep on repeat.

Aàyanna – Won’t Cry

Aàyanna questions whether she was given real love in her new song, “Won’t Cry”. In this R&B ballad, Aàyanna sings about the hard truths of love and why her partner doesn’t love her anymore. This song features an acoustic instrumental and Aàyanna’s delicate and heartbroken vocals. “I could be bitter I know I deserve better / It’s your loss / But I catch feelings faster than I catch my breath / And in that same one I said I love you.” Listen to this song when you’re going through a breakup or when you’re in a relationship that’s run its course. Aàyanna’s “Won’t Cry” is a vulnerable ballad, and even though she won’t cry, that doesn’t mean we didn’t cry while listening to it.

Sam Truth – Rainbow Mind (feat. Baro Sura)

Sam Truth preaches positivity in his new song “Rainbow Mind”. In this chill pop song, he sings about how life is worth living no matter what and for people to keep going. “When you’re going through it, you don’t gotta pretend, just know! / Life’s worth living, f*ck what he said!” This motivational banger features production from Baro Sura, an acoustic intro and an intricate instrumental with piano and trumpet sounds. Sam Truth’s gentle, heartfelt vocals and harmonies are filled with emotion as he convinces listeners not to let their temporary circumstances impact them mentally. Listen to this song when you’re sad or dealing with depression for a mood lift. Sam Truth and Baro Sura shine light in a dark world with “Rainbow Mind”.

Matt Cleare – Evelyne!

Matt Cleare falls in love with a girl in his new song, “Evelyne!”. In this psychedelic alternative R&B song, Matt sings about Evelyne, a girl who lives a double life as a priest and a stripper. This song features a funky rock instrumental with Matt’s powerful vocals, resulting in a song that gives listeners a boost of euphoria. “Oh precious Evelyne / Seeing things no one else sees / Yeah girl, you’re just like me / Finding you was my fate”. Listen to this song with your lover under a full moon for the ultimate seductive vibes. Matt Cleare’s “Evelyne!” Is a unique song that will shake the R&B scene.
